This composition balances geometry and texture in a quiet but deliberate tension. At the upper left, a yellow sail-like form suggests motion and direction, as if catching an unseen wind. Opposing it, in the lower right, a grounded green square anchors the piece—its upper-left corner just overlapping the yellow, creating a subtle moment of contact between movement and stability.
In the lower left, a narrow white textured shape—roughly half the scale of the green square—introduces a tactile interruption, its surface catching light differently and adding depth to the otherwise flat geometry. Across the top right, a horizontal white strip stretches like a river, its texture varied with traces of grey. Within this space, a sinuous, snake-like line winds through, guiding the eye and suggesting a quiet, organic flow.
The grey area in the corner reads as a form emerging from or pressing into the river—an island, perhaps—creating a landscape-like ambiguity within an otherwise abstract language. The work invites interpretation through spatial relationships: overlap, interruption, and flow become the primary means of expression, evoking a sense of balance between structure and fluidity.
